Not sure about the colours for the wheels yet.... they're easy to sand and paint, so I'll probably try some different combinations.
Could get the wheels faked of course... but you know, never looks the same irl.
The rims are designed to cool the brakes, they kinda pump air onto the discs, so I'll mount them the right way

Don't have adapters yet, used two 10mm spacers atthe fronth, though.
Still need to fit them at the back, but since I can only choose between 20 and 23mm adapters, I'll just fit them there to see weather the 23 or the 20mm adapters are the better choice there.

Just think, those rims look lot beter wrong way and if in front bumber are "fresh-air tunel" coolin will work beter when turbins take hot air out of rims.
Hope you mirror-polish those.

Well, I like the look of the Salad Shooters mounted the way they are meant to.
I'm not sure about the colortheme yet, I'm torn between getting the deep parts painted all black and polishing the flat front, or getting the deep parts in my car's color and painting the front high glossy black

Well, the pipes on my friend's GTI are much too big, but the Remus muffler came with the car and he had other things that needed fixing before, he'll get a different muffler with smaller pipes sooner or later.
In my book pipes must fit the proportions of the car and the cutout in the rearbumper for them, not a friend of the a no-pipes/diesel-style look myself

Plans for 2012 become real.

Things that still need to be changed: Rim colour, tires, drop and camber.

...I pulled some tartan onto my headliner, installed US MKIV Golf Cabrio sun visors and MKIV Golf lamps for the rear seats. Plus a OMP Steeringwheel



...and today I put my new wheels on.

Holy shit. That looks awesome. The wheels are just perfect and the color matches nicely with the red&black. Only thing i would change is the headliner. Black suede would look killer.

I like that headliner Interior looks very nice and new rims suits this car very well.
